Software based administrative/academic system: - SVEA has established our own designed software system to enhanced qualitative working and to save lethal administrative procedure and working. With the help of this system we are in a position to cut short registration procedure and student can get their identity cards with their in no time, It helps us to review day to day development of every student. It has made revolutionary change in our examination system now with the help of this software we can asses not only student status in very short time but also we can make comparative assessment of question papers and results, viability regarding fourth coming competitive examinations.
We have also introduced OMR system which has helped us in Two way
Students got familiar with OMR Sheets provided in the competitive examinations
SVEA in a position to declare results within 15 minutes of examination
- From the Year 2007 we have also introduced online results(OR) and result through SMS(R-SMS)
Library: - SVEA have well equipped library at left hand corner at ground floor in which we have provided 452 titles and 1200 volumes of high standard books are available for reference and we have also provided study section which is open to all students from 9 am to 6 pm. We have provided high speed internet facility and reprographic in the library. To facilitate students with the latest developments in the field of competitive examinations.
Hostel Accommodation:- We have separate hostels for boys and girls. Boys hostel is Very close to our academic buildings while girls hostel is in institutional building itself, providing hygienic well ventilated accommodation facilities developed as per student’s need. Approximate expenditure for Housing and Food is around Rs.2500/- p.m.
Every boarder is provided with a chair, a table and a cot. He/She will be responsible for these items and other electrical fittings etc. Furniture and electrical fittings are not to be removed from one room to another. Every boarder is to see that no damage is done to the hostel property. Fitting & repair charges for any damage (intentional or negligence) are to be borne by the boarder concerned.
Hostel Rules:-

The hostel shall be opened to the regular students on the rolls of the Institute. The students who can make suitable arrangement with their parents or guardians for boarding lodging outside the campus may be allowed to do so with the permission of the CEO/AO on production of a written undertaking from the parents/guardian that they will take part in all extra curricular activities of the Institute and shall exhibit good conduct.

Every Boarder must have a copy of the rules to acquaint himself with all the rules and regulations of the Hostel. He/she must observe them strictly. Ignorance of rules will not be considered as an excuse.

While issuing character certificate to the boarders, the opinion of the Hostel Warden will be given weight age. The Hostel warden will exercise general supervision and control over the hostlers.

Boarders must look up the Hostel Notice Board twice a day, as sometimes important notices are put up there.

No Boarders should see the Director for ordinary matters. Hostel warden is the right person for such matters.

All cases of illness should be reported to the Hostel Warden

Light must be switched off when not in use.

The use of electric heater, electric rod and other similar appliance are prohibited.

Boarders are warned against tampering with electric installation and for all electric repairs the electrician should be called in

No student should keep any fire-arms, lethal weapons, poisonous things or intoxicants of any kind in the Hostel and a boarder found guilty of having committed a breach of this rule, shall be liable to be expelled from the hostel, apart from any other punishment that may be awarded on the merit of each case, by the CEO/AO of the Institute.

Any meeting to be held in the Hostel premises should have the prior approval of the AO/Hostel Warden

While visiting the dining hall, the common rooms and canteen, the students should be in their proper dress.

On each storey of hostel, a student amongst the boarders shall be appointed as Block Prefect for that wing, who will assist the Hostel Warden in the administration of the Hostel affairs.

The Director shall have the power to make amendment in the Hostel Rules and powers to declare Hostel articles unserviceable and its disposal and write off losses.

All the boarders shall vacate the hostel rooms before they leave for the vacation so that annual repairs and white washing are carried out. All the hostel articles issued to the students be returned to the Hostel Warden/Clerk before the students leave their rooms. They will be responsible for any loss. The loss if any, will be made good from the defaulters.

The messing arrangement will be under the direction of the warden and for his assistance there will be mess committee.
Guidelines Guests

Guests are not, ordinarily, permitted to stay in the hostel except in the case of father/brother & mother/sister (in case of girl students) provided he/she comes from a far off place at odd hours. The student must get permission for keeping his/her guest in the Hostel from the concerned Warden. The guests so allowed will be kept in the hostel guest-room. Their names will be entered in the guest register kept in the hostel.

Female guests are not permitted to stay in Boys Hostel. Likewise male guests are not allowed to stay in the girl’s hostel.

A boarder keeping a guest without permission is liable to be fined.
Withdrawal and Removal from the Institute Hostel

After the general allotment, application for withdrawal from the hostel should be counter signed by the father/guardian and submitted to the Hostel Warden. Such an application should be presented after hostel dues have been cleared.

Even if the boarder has actually vacated his/her room, he/she will have to pay all the hostel dues and fines standing against his/her name up-to the day he/she continues to be one rolls, until his/her name is formally withdrawn.

A boarder may be expelled from the hostel by the Director, if the boarder is in the habit of staying away without the permission and hostel fee and mess dues are in arrears for more than a month.

Students who do not clear their dues such as dues of the hostel mess, canteen, library, fine etc. by the prescribed date will not be registered for the subsequent Test/Examination until and unless, they clear all their dues and get" No dues certificate" from the AO, account section, Front office, library and the concerned Hostel Warden. In case of those students who are to leave the Institute after completing the degree requirements or otherwise, their result as well as the Provisional Certificate/degree will be with held till NO DUE certificate is produced.

No boarder shall leave the hostel without personally handing over the charge of the room. Loss, if any, will be recovered from him/her.
